West Meon Parish Council
West Meon Parish Council has vacancies for new Councillors.
Are You:
- Interested in local issues and improving the lives of the people living around you?
- Keen to represent other villagers' interests and ensure West Meon receives the services to which it is entitled?
- Able to attend one meeting per month?
The Parish Councillor Role:
- Attend meetings and prepare by studying the agenda and accompanying documents.
- Be willing to take part in discussions resulting in sound decisions being made for the Village.
- Represent the whole electorate.
- Ensure the Council is properly managed.
- Be willing to partake as a volunteer.
Can you stand as a Parish Councillor?
- At least 18 years old?
- A British citizen or an eligible Commonwealth citizen?
- Registered to vote, live, work or own property in West Meon?
