Refuse Collection & Recycling

Refuse collection for the village is normally on a Friday morning and bins should be put out Thursday evening to avoid missing what is very often an early collection. General waste for landfill alternates with recycling waste weekly.

Bottles should be placed in boxes provided by Winchester City Council and put out with recycling bins every 4 weeks.

Garden waste is now collected on a subscription basis and brown bins provided by Winchester City Council should be left out with general waste although collection for this is usually later in the day and is not collected over the Christmas period.

Full details of refuse collection services, garden waste subscription and household recycling sites can be found on the Winchester City Council's website or by using this link.
