Summer Show, next Saturday 9 August at Warnford Village Hall.

Who can resist the charms of an old-fashioned Summer Show? What classes will you enter: Fruit, Veg, Flowers, Flower Arranging? Or maybe you won’t be able to resist the Cookery classes? Ever made a small loaf of savoury cornbread? Now’s your chance if you haven’t.

And how can you not be tempted by the photo, craft and fun sections? A photo of "nature's patterns” perhaps? A pressed flower on A4 white card? Or, back by popular demand, a miniature garden?
